これも、新しいトイレに変えてから時々してしまう失敗です。
前のと比べて、そんなに小さいわけでもないのに――。
踏ん張り始めちゃったらもうどうしようもないので、
「鳥か！」とつっこんでおきます。

「えらい目にあいましたよ！」





えらい目にあったのはこっちですよ、まるさん。




チビの頃からずっとシステムトイレを使っていたのですが、
まるがどうも固まるタイプの猫砂の方が好きみたいなので
引っ越しを機にトイレを変えたのですが。
新しいトイレに変えてから、時々失敗してしまいます。
昨日は猫砂をぜんぶ隅に寄せて山を作った後、体の向きをくるりと変え、
猫砂のないところで用を足してしまったので黄色い液体を毛が吸収してしまい――。
ということでシャンプーしました。
ちなみに寒い季節には湯船にもつかります。

Maru failed in the litter box yesterday.

最近のまるは、おねだりの時に手（前足）が出ます。
自分がご飯を食べ終わって、まだこっちが食べている時。
正面から身を乗り出してしつこく「それちょーだい！」と
アピールすることはあまりないですが、
背後にぴたりと寄り添いひたすら無言の圧力をかけ、それでももらえないと、
背中をとんとん、と。
振り向くと、目を細め、鼻をすんすん言わせて、ひもじさをアピール。
たいていの場合「よしよし」と撫でられて終わりですが。


When Maru finishes eating his dinner, and I still eat,
he claps my back with his forefoot.

自分から寄り添うのはＯＫなのに、こっちから近くに行って横になると、
「しょーもな」という顔をしてどこかへ行ってしまいます。
行かないで！　と懇願しても無駄です。

まるがチビの頃から一番気に入っているおもちゃ（洗面所のごみ受け）、
もういい加減ぼろぼろなのでホームセンターでずっと探していたのですが、
同じ形のものが見つからず。
仕方がないので似たようなものを買ったのですが――。

Maru's favorite toy is already tattered.

Therefore I bought a toy of similar form. But......







「新しいのは咥えにくいですよ」

まるは一度遊び始めると長いです。
場所を変え、おもちゃを変え、なるべくお付き合いいたしますが、
途中で別のことを始めると、遊びたい場所で鳴いて呼びつけられます。
